I have been going to this Doctors Practice 28 year's. Every time my son was admitted to A&E if Dr Whittle was on duty at Victoria Hospital pediatrics always came to see him. When Kieron at the age of 4 was rushed in with an unknown illness that quickly became life threatening as soon as Dr Whittle found out he rushed to his bedside & did not leave until they had him back under control over 24 hours later. My son did survive that time but died aged 14 in an accident & Dr Whittle was a Godsend & although normally jokey & sometimes brusk was very compassionate & understanding. Also after moving my parents from their old Dr's to mine, on their first visit Dr Whittle cured my Mum's migraines which she had suffered over 20 year's. She had seen specialist's, had head scans etc. Dr Whittle simply asked a bunch of questions relating to depression and found that she had an underlying mild depression. He took her off migraleave & put her on a very low dose of antidepressant & she hasn't had a migraine in 20 year's. Dr Bev's was fantastic when Dad was dying he ensured he died painfree in dignity in his own home as he wanted surrounded by his family. Dr Fairhead being the diabetic Dr has been fabulous with my husband along with Dr Whittle who we see mainly. Reception staff are fantastic always seeking best solution. Yes sometimes we have to go through triage but we don't mind because if they feel it necessary we still get to see a Dr but usually when triage a prescribing nurse is sufficient. But if we insist on seeing a Dr we get appointments within the week if none urgent & same day if urgent. All in all excellent service and brilliant staff from receptionist to nurses to doctors. I wouldn't swap them. Thank you CGP for all your care & support.
Well organised, staff good at there job Can get busy
