Blackpool Tip and Household Waste Recycling Centre

Bristol Ave, Blackpool FY2 0JG, UK – 01253 476317

The fact that whenever you go it is busy speaks for itself! We've been going here for years and the staff have always been helpful and friendly. It's quite clearly signed where most stuff belongs, which skip etc but even if your having a 'Senior' moment or your brain just can't spot the obvious, site staff will help and support in a friendly manner. Treat staff in the manner you want to be treated and you can't go wrong!

Staff are so helpful. If they see even a fraction of unsureness about which bin to put your stuff in there over like a shot. Thanks to everyone who works there. Keep up the good work and the excellent level of customer service.

I love the shop..but I speak probably for many when I say how much better it would be if Sundays were open a lot longer..as many people who work occasionally only have a Sunday to tidy out their sheds or homes and collect a lot of stuff no longer needed and would obviously want to use the day to be rid of it all ..sometimes a couple of journeys are needed and through experience the last load we took..? We ran out of time...so had to bring it all back again . Apart from this? It'd be a perfect score of stars ..

Went for the first time today. being disabled .staff were very helpful

Hi We just want to say how pleased we are with the job you did for us. We live in Anchorsholme and our back garden floods and gets like a lake any time there is torrential rain at this time of year when the sun doesn't get on the lawn. You recently put in land drains and a pump and this past week it had it's real first test. The awful floods we had in the surrounding roads were terrible and in the morning we didn't have one bit of ponding and no lake. The lawn was quite dry and could be walked on. It's such a relief and peace of mind. The guys worked really hard and were great to get on with. So would definitely recommend. Thanks guys. Heather and mum Julia. P.S. Lucy our dog can now walk on the lawn at this time of year so is grateful also!

Excellent service, very easy to work with and reasonable prices to sort out some tricky drain issues. Professional, pleasant, on time and customer oriented. Would highly recommend

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.
